My Self
From before I could speak, music and art imprinted upon me as language, full of feeling and emotion. Creating was the way of life in my household, so it is no wonder that I am an artist deeply inspired by music.

I graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design with a minor in Art History. In school I threw pots like clay was going out of style, relished Grecian Art History, but fell in love with graphic art. I started designing straight out of school and never looked back. And yes, graphic design is an art form.

My Work
Abstract Expressionism and Color Field painting, entangled with principles of graphic design and volumes of graphic art have cleared the way to my light-hearted and unpretentious work. There is no charting my inspiration for the footprint is too vast, but nature, my mother, music, kittens and the color pink are at the top of the list. I find myself composing foremost with vivid color and abstract marks to create planes of dream like spaces. Using unrestricted brush strokes and undefined objectives, I create from my imagination and keep a free-spirited feel by working spontaneously and intuitively. The idea is to think without thinking. I put the brushes down when the joy starts to fade and browse Pantone swatches to recharge.
